The Santo Tomás University, first university in Colombia has its headquarters in Bogotá, two other sites located in Tunja and Bucaramanga, and two branches in Medellín and Villavicencio; besides this, there are twenty-three regional centers in different cities around the country with graduate, postgraduate and master’s degrees in different areas as well as distance learning programs.

The Santo Tomás University in Bucaramanga has more than 5.600 students in 17 different degree programs and more than 490 students in 41 postgraduate programs. The university is formed by more than 550 professors, who assure the best professional training.

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Mobility represents a type of international university cooperation, within the internationalization process, which aims at fortifying the generation and application of knowledge and promoting the training of multicultural professionals, helping them to become critical, competitive and open-minded. 

Our academic terms are distributed in two semesters: from February to June and from August to December. Students can come on exchange for one or two semesters maximum. In our inter-semestral period (June and July), there are several courses for the students to take in order to continue with their own subjects, or to improve their Spanish while interacting with the cultural environment of the region.
